With a history going back 2,500 years to Buddha’s physician, Shivaga Kumar Bhaccha, originally from northern India was admired as the father of medicine throughout Thailand. Thai Massage has its roots in Ayurveda, Chinese Medicine, and Thai Herbal Pharmacy. It is sometimes called Thai Yoga Massage and can have many of the same benefits as yoga— releasing physical and emotional tension, improving flexibility, promoting deeper breathing, and calming the mind.
